The location of the hostel was convenient, being near the bus station and metro station. It also offered a unique view, situated in the cemetery of Rochester Cathedral in Kent. 639 Hostel provides affordable accommodation options. 

I was only there for about 13 hours but the Hostel was convenient in terms of price and location as I was travelling again early the next morning. The staff were very helpful.

I've stayed in a hostel in Holland before where they supply small lockers so that you can store your kitbag in your room. You need your own padlock but it means you can securely leave your kit behind whilst using other rooms within the hostel.

Convenient Location and Friendly Staff

During my recent stay at Kensal Green Backpackers, I was pleasantly surprised by the convenient location. The hostel was just opposite the underground station, making it easy for me to explore the city. The staff were also incredibly friendly and 

It was a very big horrible experience for me... I never knew mixed dorm means boys n girls in the same room... How can someone even conceive area, but it was refused. Well, for me, it was the idea of putting opposite sexes not related in any way, and who are not on the same trip in one room?? Don't you think of the safety of the girls?? It was a total waste of money for me, as I could not stay there...When I requested at least for a night's refund, to help me hook myself in another area, I was refused. To me, it is a jungle!!

Very cheap and only 20 mins from the centre of london very close to rail link.

No customer service, very loud, extremely uncomfortable beds. Poor facilities I ask at the bar for a vodka and coke to be told they did not have coke, the breakfast was nothing to write home about!!!

Friendly staff, excellent security, nice room mates, easy going management, 24-hour CHKI/CHKO.

Bathroom really dirty, noise of steps, voice and doors during the night. A guy of the staff not professional, He makes me waste a lot of time and he was cockerel with me.

Its nice to share a first experience in a foreign town wit many other people from the whole world. some of them are just like you, other have more experience to teach you. And you have a nice 

sticks, bed bugs, very small room with many beds, too hot, no refunds, cash only, show in room with transparent walls and doors, all beds too squeaky, internet not working, drug dealers and illegal cigarette dealers staying there - possibly illegal immigrants - to many issues to mention, much better places at the same price in more central areas of London

at least one private light should be mounted which can restrict light in the 4 bed room so that without disturbing others one can do his job at his bed.

Not much. My room locked, that was good.

My room was a four-bed dorm with a basin and shower cubicle in one corner (not a bathroom, just a shower cubicle). There was a shared toilet, with no locks on the doors, and doors that didnt close, and was apparently BYO toilet paper. The two shared shower cubicles did not function, and did not have doors anyway.
